Christ Church Bexleyheath is a splendid and fitting building for a wedding and we would be delighted to help you.
Marrying in church is personal, meaningful and spiritual just as you want it to be. Churches are special and unique places to get married in - the prayers, promises and the whole service of celebration become part of your marriage, on the day itself and beyond.
At Christ Church Bexleyheath we have a warm and welcoming approach and are happy to consider applications from anyone who wants to be married at Christ Church. This includes people who have previously been divorced or people who are not regular worshippers.
Our aim is to help and support all couples who come to us, and to give them the best possible start in their married life. Some people book their wedding up to two years in advance, but it can be arranged within 4 weeks. We have many weddings in our beautiful Victorian church with its attractive gardens. We will do all we can to make it possible for you to be married here, though the legal requirements mean you must either live in our parish or have a Qualifying Connection with Christ Church Bexleyheath. The rules about this are quite complicated, so please contact us for more information. If you would like further information or are interested in booking a wedding at Christ Church, please contact the Vicar (Rev Trevor Wyatt) . If you are getting married elsewhere and want us to read your ‘banns’ please also contact the Vicar.
We are part of the Inclusive Church network which means that we provide a welcoming and supporting place for everyone and especially people in the LGBTQIA+ community.
